Origins

Arroyo's Welding is owned and operated by Ivan Arroyo. What started out as a passion, turned into a dream, and became reality in 2021. A prime example of the American Dream, after immigrating to the United States as a young man, Ivan studied hard and worked even harder. He attended American Welding Society  classes and the Educational Cultural Complex Professional Welding program in San Diego. He earned his welding certifications. Starting out as a grinder for aerospace turbines, he worked his way up to become a Welding Shipyard Supervisor at Marine Group Boatworks, where he oversaw million dollar projects for seven years. Wanting to share his passion and dedication to technique, he then turned to teaching welding part-time, then full-time, for six years. He volunteered at Workshops for Warriors, a nonprofit organization, teaching wounded veterans the art of Welding. He educated both adults and high school students in this high demand field and opened doors for youth and adults in his community to pursue new career paths via job placement and certifications. Moving forward, he opened his own shop out of Las Vegas, NV and continues to push forward in pursuing his dream of owning and operating his own Weld Shop and leaving a legacy for his family.
